LightHouse Women's Ministry

The purpose of this ministry is to provide information and support to women who wish to develop better eatings habits.

Our Mission is to facilitate women in accomplishing weight loss goals and improved health. While we don't claim expertise in this field of nutrition or exercise, we humbly surrender this ministry to the care and guidance of the Holy Spirit. We stand upon the Word of God in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strenghteneth me." As we band together in the name of Jesus, we are confident that He will hear us and release us to be more effective in the work He has set before us. Whether Christian or seeker, we believe that a life in turmoil is limited and distracted. It is therefore our desire to allow God to unshackle us and allow Him to be glorified through our renewal.

Attendance or membership to Faith United fellowship is not a requirement to be a part of this ministry.

You are not required to be overweight to attend.

A sense of humor is recommended, but not required.

YOU BELONG HERE IF:

1. You wish to lose weight, or

2. You feel that you need to improve your eating habits for the sake of your health, or

3. You have ideas that you've prayed about and believe they can help others dealing with eating disorders, or
